Undergraduate Programme

We were students too! This is why at FT we offer students the chance to explore different departments and sectors, broadening your horizons and developing a skill set to guide and support you in choosing your area(s) of expertise.

Postgraduate Programme

At FT we offer postgraduates a one-year or a two-year postgraduate programme. You can choose to focus on your chosen subject matter, enabling you to make a significant impact in your area of expertise or choose to rotate between sectors. Rotation ensures that you gain well rounded experience to build a solid foundation and understanding of sectors before choosing the sector you most love and wish to develop your career in.

We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why our program allows for a hybrid work model, giving you the flexibility to excel in your role while accommodating your lifestyle.

Thinking of travelling after you graduate? No problem! At FT, we support and encourage travel and that is why we welcome applications all year-round. We also support career breaks to allow graduates to travel, to experience and learn, to personally grow.

We offer competitive salaries and to support you and acknowledge your hard we conduct graduate salary reviews every 6 months.

We also have a Path to Chartership Programme that is designed to guide and support you in obtaining Chartered membership with the professional body that aligns best with your qualification(s) and career path.

 

Path to Chartership Programme

FT’s Path to Chartership Programme is designed to guide and support engineers and scientists in obtaining Chartered Membership with the professional body that best aligns with your qualifications and career path. This programme is available to employees that have successfully completed our Postgraduate Programme and consists of a combination of subject matter knowledge, subject matter application, leadership skills, communications skills, and ethical practice. We have excellent technical employees that are Chartered with Engineers Ireland (EI), Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environment Management (CIEEM), and Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM), that are available to coach and mentor you during the programme and support your application.

This programme is also tailored to employees seeking to obtain Corporate Membership with the Irish Planning Institute.

 

Mentorship Programme

At FT we also believe in supporting all employees’ individual’s goals, personal and career development challenges within a professional supportive environment throughout their career at FT. That is why our Mentorship Programme is available to our undergraduate and postgraduate colleagues.
